Hi, I’m Tracy, and I’m the creative eye behind Tracy James Photography, here in the North East.

Photography was something I have always been interested in but it wasn’t until I started a Photography course at Newcastle College that I fell in love with it.
My favourite genre of photography is studio photography. The ability to control light, and freeze moments within a controlled environment captivated me right from the start. With the completion of my photography degree, I’m filled with excitement at having turned my passion into a thriving venture.

Amazing views, and cake.
When I’m not behind the camera, you might find me indulging in another love of mine – cake! Yes, I have an undeniable weakness for sweet treats, especially a really good cheesecake. Unsure if it’s classed as a cake but to me it is.
Beyond the studio and the sweet treats, I also love being outdoors. I find walking relaxing and I really enjoy exploring the beauty of nature. After climbing Scafell Pike, my next adventure is conquering Ben Nevis. The thrill of the climb, the amazing views when you get to the top – it’s a metaphor for the way I approach life and photography.
